How to match regex with string?

I'm following this instruction, ColdFusion Help | REMatchNoCase. So I tried this:

sites = "training-me";

result = REMatchNoCase("/training/", sites);

writeOutput(#result#);

But I kept getting Internal Server Error. Any help is much appreciated.
